What is The HIVE?

A grant funded project we have been planning for the last 18 months has finally been finished (as of November 2024).

The HIVE project enables the centre to provide further support to adults and teens with learning disabilities through Brandon Trust; this is a safe space to learn essential day-to-day skills.

We have been lucky enough to have this project thanks to grant funding from The Medlock Charity Trust, The ScrewFix Foundation, Alliance Homes and the Bailey Trust.

Without grant funding, we would not be able to support the community with the growth of our centre.

The HIVE cabins will also be available for hire for community groups, hub meetings, kids parties and training for fitness instructors of the future.

Our second HIVE cabin has enabled the centre to launch a sports rehabilitation and manual therapy room run by Fitness Passion by Anna. Anna provides treatments to all that need the support to regain physical improvement and rehab, and you can visit her page here.

We would like to thank Norton Cabin Services, Apache Construction, MEC Facilities, Norsa IT and Imperial Fire for making the HIVE construction possible.

If you are interested in booking the second cabin, please get in touch!
