    CENTRE MANAGER

    Hi, I’m Candace and my fitness journey began 23 years ago!

    When I'm not at the gym, you can find me enjoying quality time with my 3 children, swimming, or exploring the great outdoors.

    I'm a BASI Level 2 Ski Instructor, BASI UK Advanced Ski Instructor, ETM Aerobics, and Strong by Zumba instructor.

    If you see me around the gym, don't hesitate to say hi and chat over a cup of tea.

    FITNESS & OPERATIONS MANAGER

    I have 20 years experience in the fitness industry and I am a level 2 Gym instructor, level 3 Personal Trainer, Martial arts and Chinese health arts instructor and a Nutrition Coach.

    I believe in a holistic approach, where nourishing the body with the right foods is just as important as staying active and fostering mental balance. When I’m not in the gym you can find me in the kitchen, meal prepping or researching new recipes.

    I studied Sport and Exercise Science at college then an undergraduate degree in Sports Management at Cardiff Met University, where I received a BSc 2:1 with honours. I completed a Masters degree in Sports Management and Leadership.

    I've played netball for Cardiff Met University as well as in the Bristol Premier league.

    I have also been on my own fitness journey losing over 5 stone. I am more than happy to discuss this with anyone who is wanting to do the same!

    I come from a sports background, playing mainly football and rugby growing up, but am now focused on strength and conditioning training.

    I am qualified Level 2 Gym Instructor, Level 3 Personal Trainer and indoor cycling qualified. I also have a Diploma in Sporting Excellence that I achieved while at college, and I am working towards my Level 3 GP Referral.

    I come from a strong sporting background with 8 years experience of playing rugby, 2 of those years were spent playing at a high level with Bristol Bears and England.

    I am a Level 2 qualified Gym Instructor and am currently working towards my Level 3 in Personal Training. After which, I will be working towards my Level 4 in Strength and Conditioning.

    My fitness journey started as a New Year’s resolution in 2020 and bodybuilding soon became my greatest passion. I would like to help others receive the physical and psychological benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.

    I am a self taught golfer, which is very obvious to anyone who has seen me play. I also have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy regular nature walks with my dog. I love to travel and participate in a variety of activities while abroad, such as snowboarding.

    As the youngest team member, I have a keen passion for fitness and have always focused on singular sports, such as boxing, gym work, and spin classes.

    However, when at school, I enjoyed team sports with my peers.

    I regularly go skiing, both on dry slopes and resorts abroad with my family.

    I started at the centre in December 2024, so I’m one of three new staff members and am keen to work in an industry I am passionate about.

    I have been going consistently to the gym for over 2 years now due to my growing passion for bodybuilding, and I hope to be in a position to step on stage in the near future.

    I have helped a number of people to achieve their body goals and wish to share my knowledge with others.

    I started out as a receptionist in September 2023 but quickly took charge of rebranding our social media and helping to plan Worle Fest 2024, so my role has expanded quite rapidly.

    When I’m not welcoming you all to the centre, I’m holed up in my home office doing my second job as an author. I’m published under the name ‘Emilee Carter’ with Penguin if you want to have a look.

    I’m currently writing book four of a motorsports-themed romance series with two available to buy in stores so far!

    STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH

    I am a nationally ranked masters powerlifter and athlete, and my goal is to support strength and fitness development as we age.

    I also do sprint racing and follow a strict carnivorous diet. When I’m not doing something fitness related, I’m fixing bikes and cycling or working part time in a children’s nursery.

    I previously worked in social services for many years, helping children who required extra support.

    I have semi-retired but I love to keep busy and have vowed to still pursue my passions, so please get in touch for PT sessions! I also teach spin and cover a few classes at the centre.

    Her area of expertise is creating fun and unique functional workouts and making participants feel comfortable so they can be the best they can.

    Hey! I’m Hannah, I teach Dance fusion, Sass class and Dance fitness here @Worle.

    I first started teaching when I was 19 and dancing for myself from the age of 3. I’ve trained in various styles including Tap, Jazz, Latin American and Ballroom, Rock and Roll, Disco, Street Dance and many others.

    In 2016, I qualified as a level 3 fitness instructor and personal trainer which enabled me to combine my passions for fitness and dance to create and provide some fabulous classes for you.

    Dancing has always brought me so much enjoyment and I’m sure my classes will do the same for you!

    Hi, my name is Yulia! I have been a yoga instructor for over 10 years. I love creating a safe and peaceful environment for all of my students to enjoy and destress.

    Each class is different so you won’t get bored! All levels of fitness are welcome.

    In my spare time, I love walking my dog Stella and creating good memories by simply enjoying life.

    I have been teaching aerobic and associated disciplines since 1989 and qualified as a fitness instructor in 1991.

    For twelve and a half years I owned and ran my own health and fitness club in Weston-super-Mare. During this time, I trained in many other things to include: massage, aromatherapy, Indian head massage, physiotherapy, osteopathy, sports massage and manipulative therapy.

    I am a Level 4 instructor in Falls Prevention, Cancer Rehabilitation and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

    A normal day for me includes a minimum of 40,000 steps. I exercise most days, either in the gym, teaching classes, swimming, running or walking.

    I enjoy running and have run the London Marathon 11 times back to back with my quickest time being 3 hours and 47 minutes.
